Decency against history,
Skepticism against authority,
Moral anxiety against political deceit,
True prose against propaganda,
Individuals against Machines

Peace against war,
Equality against racism,
Law and order against anarchy,
Individuality against conformity

We are pressured
To change
Against our will
By the power-wielding
Maniac who controls us

It is time
That we
Stand up
For what we
Believe in

We shouldn’t
Just be
Handed the death sentence
For having

Ideals, values and beliefs
Or else all human spirit
