Ordinaries against power,
Decency against history,
Skepticism against authority,
Moral anxiety against political deceit,
True prose against propaganda,
Individuals against Machines
Peace against war,
Equality against racism,
Law and order against anarchy,
Individuality against conformity
We are pressured
To change
Against our will
By the power-wielding
Maniac who controls us
It is time
That we
Stand up
For what we
Believe in
We shouldn’t
Just be
Handed the death sentence
For having
Our own
Ideals, values and beliefs
Or else all human spirit
Will be crushed
Underneath the boot of oppression
Our minds are powerful things
In the hands of their own
None should have a master
Except for themselves
We should always
Strive to do our best
In the face of doom
Well, I’m against it
Everyone needs to be
An individual
But still be one
I’ve fought my fair
Share of battles,
Loss of friends,
And gain of enemies
But I still come out
On top
And I still campaign
Sending ever increasing
Numbers of troops
To the front line
Only to have them
Sucked up into the ranks of the enemy,
So they can spread the word
One time, we almost
Won, but then they
Killed him,
On the cross,
His name was Jesus

I Should've, I Could've (Taken A Bullet For You) (17.10.07)
We were only friends
But that all changed
When we had a fight
You mistrusted my work
So I sabotaged your lies
Now I know your ways
‘Cause they’re just like mine
Everything around me
Reminds me of you
And your sweet smell
Your haunting cries
And my crimson eyes
All fade when reality hits.
I should’ve
I could’ve
Taken a bullet for you
But I let it hit you
Now you lie next to me
Fading away.
Now I’m alone
To suffer the fate that has been left for me
I’m left here all alone
No one to talk with
‘Cause they all think I killed you
When I walk the streets
They ask about her death
And my soul pours out
Now that you’re gone
I regret not taking that bullet for you,
I lost the beautiful thing
To the hands of a murderer,
AND I REGRET IT TO THIS DAY!
But that all changed
When we had a fight
You mistrusted my work
So I sabotaged your lies
Now I know your ways
‘Cause they’re just like mine
Everything around me
Reminds me of you
And your sweet smell
Your haunting cries
And my crimson eyes
All fade when reality hits.
I should’ve
I could’ve
Taken a bullet for you
But I let it hit you
Now you lie next to me
Fading away.

I’m left here all alone

‘Cause they all think I killed you
When I walk the streets
They ask about her death
And my soul pours out
Now that you’re gone
I regret not taking that bullet for you,

To the hands of a murderer,
AND I REGRET IT TO THIS DAY!
Rain (10.10.07)
It’s raining,
It’s raining today
Help, help
I’m drowning
The sky is gray
And everywhere
Is flooded
Dark clouds
Fill the sky
Dropping deluges
Of rain
Onto the world
The water
Is getting higher,
The rain
Is getting heavier
And the flood
Is nearing
The rain
Washes away
All pain,
Greed and hatred
Leaving only
Heartache
Even though
The sky is clear
The rain
Won’t stop
Falling on me,
Dampening my
Spirits and clothes
It’s raining today
Help, help
I’m drowning
The sky is gray
And everywhere
Is flooded
Dark clouds
Fill the sky
Dropping deluges
Of rain
Onto the world
The water
Is getting higher,
The rain
Is getting heavier
And the flood
Is nearing
The rain
Washes away
All pain,
Greed and hatred
Leaving only
Heartache
Even though
The sky is clear
The rain
Won’t stop
Falling on me,
Dampening my
Spirits and clothes
